Rodin ….. my goodness. I already can't wait to go back and spend some time in this exhibition. The Artist's Dream: Works of French Symbolism on at the AGH curated by Dr. Amy Wallace. Written by Grace Moran on February 9, 2020
π³R.I.P. to this beautiful friend who would greet me with it's strong and full arms of love in our gritty little artful metropolis… that struggles so with holding on to a rightfully proud identity and moving forward to expand the reach of inclusivity and accountability. The few seconds it would take to walk the length of its protective stretch always felt like a little wonderland and secret garden hideaway. Remember playing beneath the giant blue spruces as a child? Feeling like you had the eyes and spirit of a tree…. soaring high with the falcons above all the bullshit… and at the same time piercing right through the thick of it. You were all-aware. Nature always has a way (for me) of bringing it right back to those blissful childlike moments of energetic purity and insurmountable wonder and joy, no feat diminishing. I'm sad for this tree. And sad for me… I will miss its unexpected little boost of fierce fairy fortune. Namaste tree brother πΌ #lovelettertoatree #hamont #treehugger #homeilton Written by Grace Moran on February 8, 2020
